"Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" Limp Bizkit 2000 | Interscope Records | 069490759-1
Hello, thanks for looking. I'm no expert on grading vinyl, i'll try my best to evaluate the condition of both the cover and the album. I'll use the grading scale below as a guide and i'll be very conservative with my evaluation.
You are bidding on a used copy of Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water - This is the third by American band , released on October 17, 2000 by and . This album is in excellent condition, it's rare to find this album for sale and in great condition (details on condition below).
The Jacket / Sleeve: I'm hoping the pictures can speak for the grade: EX. Has NO Seam Splitting, No writing anywhere, No bends or creases, No cut-out (drill) holes, No cut-out corners, No saw-marks or indents, The corners are in good shape there is a little bit of rounding, No cover burn from rubbing up agains other records, It has a tiny small amount of record ring you can see a little bit in the photo, No stickers, No tape, No water damage or mold. The spine is in great shape and the print is very well centered and legible. I think the pictures tell the story.
Inner Paper Sleeve: It's the original white paper record sleeves are well kept. The album picture and credit insert is in superb condition, please see photo of front and back.
The vinyl: EX. The record looks great, maybe 1 or 2 tiny minor cosmetic surface scratches but looks very clean. This has been in my own personal collection since I bought it in new 2003. Didn't play much at all. I burnt it to MP3 and stored it on one of my record shelve at my home recording studio. All Label's are perfect.
On the whole, this album is a really well kept copy, but if you still have questions please message me.
Thanks for looking, please message me with any questions!
Grading Scale:
Mint (M): Perfect, unused in sealed original packaging.
Near-Mint (NM): Close to perfect with no visible scratches or scuffs. Appears to be un-played or played less than 5 times.
Excellent (EX): May contain 1 or 2 very tiny & light cosmetic surface scratches and/or scuffs. Label and jacket may show slight signs of ring-wear / lightly bent corners. No creases, writing, tears or rips.
Very Good Plus (VG+): May show some signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took reasonably good care of it. Imperfections are cosmetic and do not drastically impact the playback. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs and surface scratches. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are ok. The label and jacket may have some slight ring ring-wear, discoloration, minor tears and imperfections. As with most vinyl, there may be low-level surface noise and light crackles and pops may be present, especially during quiet or soft passages in the track.
Very Good (VG): Many of the imperfections found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG record or sleeve.
Good (G) - It doesn't mean the record is "Trashed" but its definitely been played a lot. I'll mainly use this for jackets and inner sleeves (if the record is worth selling).
Fair (F) Poor (P): I do not sell Poor (P), Fair (F). If I use these it's because the album is super rare.
Disclaimer : I’m really new at selling on E-bay so please excuse my inexperience and lack of knowledge when it comes to collecting and selling vinyl. I do not grade LPs and I am not an expert on classification. Some of the vinyl I own, I bought in bulk at yard sales or estate sales. Ask Me Questions before bidding! Please understand, I’m grading my LPs on a visual estimation. Keep that in mind, because if you bid or buy this album, i’m selling it as is. If you’re really interested in this record and you think the description & photo’s are missing something… Message Me! Ask questions, I will answer honestly, I will send more photo’s, maybe even a video if you want. I'm not trying to scare away a potential customer, I'm just saying, please consider everything I said before asking for a refund. Look, there is some risk when buying used 30 - 60 year old, pre owned, vinyl… together we can cut down on that risk even eliminate it! Thanks for looking!!!
