 DESCRIPTION OF ITEM:

 Rare Original Winchester (Burbank/Palm Tree Label) 1st.Pressing Of Van Halen's (Self Title) LP

The album still has most of its original shrink wrap on it (see pic.) There are some rips/tears in the shrink wrap, so please check out up-close photos...The shrink wrap still has the original (The Record Market) sale sticker on it in the top right corner. The album also has the original printed record sleeve

Record label: Warner Bros. Year~1978 Cat#. W1-23985

The condition of the Vinyl is VG++ with a couple of very light paper sleeve marks that doesn't affect playing

The Jacket/Cover is in VG+ condition...with some little age/corner wear (see pics.) and a light crease in (Michael) the bottom right corner...The shrink wrap has some rips/tears in it, but has done its job by protecting the cover a bit better than without it

The Record Sleeve is in VG condition with all 3 sides/seams have about a 2" seam split (see pics.) both sides are still bright with color with a little age/handling wear, besides the seam splits a very nice sleeve. Ever since I purchased this album I stop using the original sleeve and use a newer plain white sleeve to help prevent anymore damage from happening

This Winchester pressing with the Palm Tree Labels was the very first release of the album back in 1978. This pressing was only in production for a few months and then switched to the Warner Bros. White Label pressing...This pressing is getting much harder to come by!!!

Combining other albums for you to save on shipping...If you live in the States then there is only the one time charge of $4.01 for shipping...any other LP add ons have no extra charge :-)

For Combining LPs for International shipping...I can send 2 LPs for the same price of shipping 1 LP...any more then 2 I will have to check weight before pricing 

I take my time and pack very safely with all the edges of the Box fully taped with "Fragile" and "Handle With Care" on it and a piece of cardboard for extra stiffness
