Welcome to this Runout Grooves listing. We might be new sellers to Ebay, but we have over 20 years experience of selling music (both online and in record shops) so please don't be concerned with the low feedback rating. We are confident that our feedback score will rise very fast!
Runout Grooves is run by collectors for collectors, so we know exactly what you want to see in a listing. We aim to give you as much information as you could possibly hope for to enable you to decide if the items that we have for sale are exactly the ones that you are looking for. We will have lots of high-resolution photos (showing you the best bits as well as any defects) plus detailed descriptions of condition, matrix numbers, pressing information - and, most importantly of all, a professional and conservative grading of sleeve and disc. You can bid with confidence!
This is a very rare 10" LP of The Sound Of Fury, the classic debut album by Billy Fury. In superb condition considering its age!
Has the E/T tax coding on the labels.
Released by: Decca Catalogue Number: LF 1329 Year of release: 1960
Matrix numbers: Side 1 - DRL-4799-2A Side 2 - DRL-4800-2A
Condition: Vinyl - EX. Beautiful near-spotless condition. The only blemish is a small 5mm hairline on track 1 of side 1. It has been play-tested and it plays beautifully with a bare-minimum of surface noise. It's hard to imagine that you will find a better copy of this 60 year old record! Sleeve - VG+. The front-laminated flipback sleeve - made by British Celanese Limited - is fully intact with no splits on the edges or the spine. There is no writing anywhere, and only a very few minor creases on the edges. There is a tiny area on the front cover in the top left corner near the top spine where the laminate has lifted away slightly. I'm sure that many dealers would grade this comfortably as an EX but we're erring on the cautious side. You won't be disappointed!
We use the Record Collector grading system which grades records from Mint to Poor. We always aim to grade conservatively and fairly. However, we recognise that grading can be subjective and one man's EX can be another man's Good, so please contact us if you would like to clarify any issues with condition. Please note that (unlike other sellers) we will only grade records as Mint or Near Mint if we can be certain that they have never been played. If they have been used, then our highest grading will be EX.
UK BUYERS PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN SEND UP TO 6 LPs OR 12"s FOR THE SAME PRICE AS ONE - JUST £4.00!
We will discount postage for bulk purchases - see below. If you buy more than 1 item from us then please wait until you have received a combined invoice from us before paying, as Ebay will not apply the discount automatically.
All LPs are sent out in custom-made LP sized cardboard envelopes along with a cardboard stiffener. For your peace of mind, we will only send international parcels using Royal Mail?s Tracked & Signed service (where available).
