Hello, thanks for looking. I'm no expert on grading vinyl, i'll try my best to evaluate the condition of both the cover and the album. I'll use the grading scale below as a guide and i'll be very conservative with my evaluation, Keep in mind I am only visually assessing the condition of the jacket and vinyl. You are bidding on a used copy of The Cars. This is the debut album by the American  band . It was released on June 6, 1978, on . The album featured the three charting singles "", "" and "". Both the vinyl and jacket are in Excellent condition. More details below.

CONDITION- Jacket: EX  / Vinyl: EX

The Jacket / Sleeve: EX Excellent I'm hoping the pictures can speak for the grade: It is Solid & Stiff,  No writing anywhere, there are some small bends and creases (nothing crazy), No cut-out (drill) holes, No cut-out corners, No saw-marks or indents, The corners are in good shape, The spine is in great shape and the print is very well centered and legible.  Nothing big to report, pictures tell the story. 

Inner Paper Sleeve:  It's the original picture / lyric paper sleeve... Great condition, see photo. 

The vinyl: EX Excellent  The record looks great, Maybe some Super light, minor cosmetic surface scratches, looks really good. It's doesn't look like there is anything that will impact playback AT ALL. Label's are perfect.

All records are shipped correctly in a 12 X 12 Record mailer, (with the record out of the jacket - to prevent damage to the jacket) and in a plastic dust cover, with extra cardboard and foam support. 

I do free combine shipping! So if you're think about buying a second or third album, I combine ship for free UP to 4 albums (2 Double LPs) total.  After that I might need a second box (but if you wanna buy that many I'll pay for the second shipping cost)

Grading Scale:

Mint (M): Perfect, unused in sealed original packaging.

Near-Mint (NM): Close to perfect with no visible scratches or scuffs. Appears to be un-played or played less than 5 times.

Excellent (EX): May contain 1 or 2 very tiny & light  cosmetic surface scratches and/or scuffs. Label and jacket may show slight signs of ring-wear / lightly bent corners. No creases, writing, tears or rips.

Very Good Plus (VG+): May show some signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took reasonably good care of it. Imperfections are cosmetic and do not drastically impact the playback. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs and surface scratches. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are ok. The label and jacket may have some slight ring ring-wear, discoloration, minor tears and imperfections. As with most vinyl, there may be low-level surface noise and light crackles and pops may be present, especially during quiet or soft passages in the track.  

Very Good (VG): Many of the imperfections found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG record or sleeve.

Good (G) - It doesn't mean the record is "Trashed" but its definitely been played a lot. I'll mainly use this for jackets and inner sleeves (if the record is worth selling).

Fair (F) Poor (P): I do not sell Poor (P), Fair (F). If I use these it's because the album is super rare. 

Disclaimer : I’m still new at selling on eBay so please excuse my inexperience and lack of knowledge when it comes to selling vinyl on eBay I do not grade LPs professionally and I am not an expert on classification. Some of the vinyl I own, I bought in bulk at yard sales or estate sales. Ask Me Questions before bidding! Please understand, I’m grading my LPs on a visual estimation.
