TheBEATLES COLLECTION on cassette tapes.

Released in the UK  late 1978 Catalog No. TCBC13.

This is a stunning NEAR MINT collection of 13 cassettes of all The Beatles original UK LPs plus RARITIES. 

Uniquely the double 1968 WHITE ALBUM was issued as a single double play tape.

THE BOX: in beautiful matte blue with gold lettering and printed signatures. The only fault is one corner of the lid has come apart.The hinges are perfect and the box closes perfectly and has protected the tapes over 40 plus years. The inner plastic rack which holds the boxes is perfectly intact and functions as it should to hold the tapes neatly in the box.

THE TAPES: Each cassette has a perfect box mechanism and the inners are also perfect. This set has been well looked after and barely played.They all look perfect and I play tested a couple of tracks from all cassettes and they play perfectly well. The tape mechanisms have been well protected and all look as new. 

An interesting point is that apart from Sgt Pepper, each cassette has the tracks in a different order than we are accustomed to on the LPs.Two examples are ‘Please Please Me’ starts on side 1 with‘Misery’ and ‘Rubber Soul’ starts with ‘Norwegian Wood’!This was done to make the each side of the tape of approximately equal length, but makes for weird listening!

These sets are getting rarer to find and this one is in almost perfect ‘shop bought’ condition. Some tapes may have only been played once or twice.
