Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE: Zounds! What Sounds! ARTIST: Dean Elliott and His Orchestra LABEL: Capitol Records ST 1818 STEREO PRESSING CONDITION: JACKET - Excellent(Jacket has very light corner/edge/age wear with a separation of covers at top right corner (easily repaired, but not by me); there is a small name sticker back cover top left - Please see actual album photos) VINYL - Near Mint(NOTE: Includes original Capitol inner sleeve - Graded using custom spotlight).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Capitol's legendary "Full Dimensional Stereo" deep-groove vinyl issue of classic big band space-age performances by the great Dean Elliott and His Orchestra, filled with spectacular "percussion effects" (take that, Thompson!). In the early sixties everyone was recording new and different music, and this is one of the best, a treasure, and still delightful sixty years! later.

OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); MINT(Mint is perfect, without any marks on the vinyl; this is rare, usually indicating a new or like-new record); NM (Near Mint - our highest "used" grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks - paper scuffs or very light marks - that do not affect play); EX(Excellent - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
