PROFESSOR LONGHAIR sealed ROCK N ROLL GUMBO vinyl LP on Dancing Cat Records   Professor Longhair had not recorded in over ten years and this is one of last made April 3rd, and 4th, 1974. The recording is true Louisiana recorded at Bogallusa's Studio in the Country. Joining Fess are Clarence "Gatemoth" Brown on guitar (and violin), Alfred Roberts, congas, Julius Farber, bass and Shiba on drums. Jerry Jumonville blew baritone and tenor sax with Steve Madaio wailing on trumpet for Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
