I've become a huge Victory fan of late and have been collecting everything that I can find. Victory just had a way of rocking and was different in their style from many other German rock bands. Sometimes just doing good rock and other times really cutting into the metal genre with albums like Culture Killed the Native. Lead by lead guitarist Herman Frank who is more known for his role in the band Accept, Victory put out some great stuff and continues to do so now an then such as Don't Talk Science which is again more metal.

You have to remember that at the time of this release 1987, glam and big hair metal/rock was the going thing and like Accept they too threw their hat into the ring with Hungry Hearts. It may not be their best release but its Victory rock n roll and its a pleasant surprise to find and sounds better than a whole lotta stuff release by some of the bigger known bands of the same time period.

A lot of people don't even know of its existence which makes it even more appealing to own. If you haven't heard Victory yet go with the self titled release, Instinct, Don't Get Mad Get Even, and the have to have Culture Killed the Native and you have a pretty good time line of this band, and its excellent rock n roll metal show.
