DESCRIPTION: John Prine / Self-Titled. This is a fairly nice copy. Not perfect, but it will do nicely until you do find that perfect copy.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Many sellers will tell you that the records they are selling are mint or fine, but a careful reading of their description will completely avoid the words "played" or "tested". Sometimes you will see that the grading they provide is based on a "visual inspection" only. If I have learned one thing from collecting records is that a visual inspection is virtually meaningless when used to describe vinyl sound quality. A record can look pristine and still sound horrible and vice-versa. Also, many sellers will use stock pictures. This is great if the stock picture actually represented what you were buying. However, often the stock picture is of a "new" item and what is being sold is no where near that quality. The listing will state the quality of the item being sold, but visual descriptions and stock images are often misleading. This can lead the consumer to purchase an item they might have, otherwise, avoided. Here at Asgard's Tree each  record is play-tested in its entirety. This means you can buy with confidence knowing that the entire record was played, not just a single track. Also, I always take pictures of the actual items. I understand why many sellers use visual descriptions and stock images as it saves them a lot of time and allows them to list more items in a shorter period of time. Play testing records is time consuming as is describing the results of said testing. This is why my prices may be a tad higher than other sellers. My descriptions or prices might stop you from buying my items,  but I would rather lose a sale to an honest description than to have you buy the item and end up being dis-satisfied with it. Additionally, every record I sell gets a basic wash/cleaning. This is another service most sellers don't/won't provide due to cost and time constraints. While a basic wash is not as good as a sonic cleaning it will, at least, remove simple contaminants like smoke, dust and hair. After washing I place records with a price of five dollars and above, into a Mobile Fidelity anti-static sleeve. I am always happy to take additional pictures or to answer any additional questions you might have.
GRADING: I prefer an accurate description to selecting a grade as grading is subjective from person to person. While the listing requires gradings I strongly suggest you read my descriptions which you should consider to have priority over any grading. Please see photos, as they are of the actual item you will receive. By bidding you are acknowledging that you have looked at the photos, read the description and have asked any questions you might have about the item.
SHIPPING: Items won will normally ship via your choice of USPS Media Mail, USPS First Class Mail. All items will ship within 2 business days of payment receipt.
I do offer combined shipping on request. Please keep in mind that if you combine shipments, USPS First Class will not be an option due to weight limits.
