NM denotes very close to Mint VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as tell-tale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration. VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
