Manic Street Preachers - Motown Junk / Sorrow Sixteen* / Ceremony Rape Machine*
* Interesting Manic's fact - by the time this single was officially pressed, the B Side was renamed We Her Majesty's Prisoners, so a nice bit of Manic's history. Slightly less dramatic, Sorrow Sixteen was abbreviated for the rest of their career to Sorrow 16.
Almost unique (1 of 3 copies) this is the original acetate of Heavenly Records You Love Us 12" EP. I purchased this (& the Motown Junk acetate to be listed next week) directly from the original producer Robin Wynn Evans. I flew up to meet him at his Tpot Recording Studio up in the mountains outside of Perth, Scotland & spent a lovely couple of hours in his company. The other copies of acetate would have gone to the band & their management for quality checking before going off to the pressing plant for the first vinyl test presses.
Due to the rarity of this record, I'd prefer to either deliver this in person or meet up at a convenient location with the buyers permission of course.
I'm going to be listing the remainder of my exhaustive Manic's collection over the next few weeks, including test pressings & acetates of Suicide Alley, Motown Junk & You Love Us.

Excellent - Record shows some signs of having been played. Vinyl or CD may have very light scratches or markings. Cover & packaging might have slight wear &/or creasing / minor seam damage. CD inserts may have dents from jewel case studs etc
Very Good - Record has obviously been played many times with noticeable surface marks. Cover & packaging may have more obvious defects / damage such as seam splits / heavy creases etc.
