NM - Top Open Grade, Shiny with no visible defect, rarely used
VG++ May have a couple of light sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other inconsequential marks
VG+ May show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience
VG Similar to VG+ with greater number and more obvious scratches that you usually cannot feel with a fingernail
VG- Will have decent number of light scratches or a significant single defect as noted
G Lots of visual imperfections of both light and fingernail depth. Plays with surface noise. + and - will be used for variations at the scale
