Pink Floyd, Delicate Sound of Thunder
1988 UK pressed EMI 2 x stereo LP set housed in gatefold sleeve with picture inner sleeves, EQ 5009.
A set which has clearly been well used but still provides an overall enjoyable listening experience.
Vinyl is still glossy but with a number of light scuff marks and some gentle scratches. No deep digs or gouges.
Plays with some run-in crackle at beginnings of sides but this mostly commensurate with the opening crowd noise. A little light crackle to the quiet opening of "Shine On...". Some slightly more obtrusive soft to mid-level crackle during "Wish You Were Here". Otherwise the bulk of the set plays very cleanly with much playing EX.
Picture inners are free of splits or major damage but have very minor handling creading and some minor smudgy marks.
External gatefold sleeve is quite heavily rubbed and with some minor storage spotting. Edges and tips are a little scuffed, however the spine text is all fully legible.
