Ravel: Piano Concerto in G major / Piano Concerto in D major for the Left Hand
UK pressed EMI Columbia stereo LP, SAX 2394. First pressing with blue and silver labels.
Vinyl visually fairly clean. Glossy and spindle activity is light. A few light scuffs and gentle scratches but nothing which appears severe. A small patch of light scratches at the run-in to side one encroach just a touch into the beginning of the side.
The aforementioned marks cause a few soft ticks to the introduction, but of very short duration.
Otherwise a somewhat ticky issue. Not so noticeable at tuttis but the quieter parts have noticeable low and occasionally mid-level crackle. No loud consecutive ticks.
Original poly-lined Emitex inner has corner creasing and some minor tan marks. No seam splits.
Sleeve a solid VG. Some tan storage and handling marks to the white band at top front and the rear panel. Bottom left tip bruised. Some whitening surface loss to bottom edge near spine. A neat cataloguing sticker to top left front. Edges and spine are otherwise well preserved.
Offered at a realistic starting bid as a collection filler until a better copy comes along.
