"The Beatles vs The Four Seasons", DBL Vinyl LP, Vee Jay Records VJLP 1065, 1964, Mono, Gatefold, Rare, First pressing,  Beatles' poster.
Record(s) condition: The Beatles' record - There are scratches, primarily surface, on both sides of the record. The scratches on Side 1 do not affect sound quality which is graded VG+. Side 2 - The first two songs (Please Please Me and Baby It's You) are graded VG+. Pops and ticks will begin to be heard on track 3 and continue on to tracks 4 and 5. Although these surface noises may be annoying, they do not overwhelm the record and the music is still enjoyable. The pops and ticks are not heard much or at all on the last track (Twist and Shout). Overall grade VG+/VG-.
The Four Seasons' record - Again there are scratches on both sides of the record, primarily harmless surface scratches. The scratches do not affect sound quality on Side 1. On Side 2, sound quality is affected by pops and ticks throughout but not to the extent that the listening experience is ruined. Overall grade VG+/G+.
Both inner sleeves are in VG+ condition, although very minor seam split repairs were made some years back with clear tape to prevent further splitting. The poster showing the young Beatles is in pristine condition.
The album cover has minor ring wear near bottom of front and back. There is minor edge wear at the corners. Printing on the spine is legible and easily read. Barely visible minor seam split repairs were made to front cover with clear tape. Price sticker is still on front cover. Overall the outer sleeve is graded VG. Please see images. Additional images will be provided upon request.
Overall Grade - VG. Records with this grade often have scratches or other visible blemishes but will play through without skipping or repeating. Light to moderate surface noise and/or crackles may be present, however not overly distracting. Outer sleeves may have moderate ring wear and/or edge wear or minor seam splits.
