Toro Y Moi - Presents Mahal LP, Limited Edition Blue Marble Smoke Vinyl Variant (already out-of-print), glossy embossed gatefold outer sleeve (single LP), glossy card stock inner sleeve with lyrics, stickers.
Ultrasonically cleaned & play-tested, new MOFI inner sleeve.
Resealable clear plastic outer protective sleeve in lieu of the usual factory shrink-wrap.
Advertised as “Blue Marble Smoke Variant”, but almost no marbling to speak of - still a nice shade of blue though (see photos).
The music is so trippy/psychedelic/experimental/prog, I can’t tell if the audible crackling/self-sampling/fade-ins & fade-outs/left-to-right channel drifting are intentional or not (ala Beck/Pink Floyd/Ultimate Spinach/West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band/13th Floor Elevators, etc.) Otherwise, it has no visible/audible defects - plays through smooth & creamy.
