Billie Holiday was at the peak of her vocal artistry during her 5 ½ years with Decca Records, 1944 to 1950.
This four-LP limited edition collection set captures every musical nuance of this brilliant period. The 50 tracks include master takes of all 36 songs she recorded for the label, plus additional versions and alternate takes.
Included is a 20-page booklet featuring many rare photographs of the artist, an interview with her Decca producer, Milt Gabler, and extensive liner notes documenting the period and the music.
