I don't know a thing about albums and won't pretend to.  This is not what I normally sell, but I liked it, and thought someone would like to add it to their collection.

I don't have a record player, so haven't played it, but I owned hundreds of albums as a kid, and to me, these look like they've been treated gingerly.  There is a little scuff on one of the sides that I captured in pic #10 above.  Again, I remember having a ton of records with minor scuffs (which these are) and still played beautifully.

The jacket itself is in great shape.  Minor wear, but for a 50-year-old album, it's in great shape.  What you see pictured is what the lucky winner will receive.

Again, I sell mostly sports cards, and never want to misrepresent a listing.  If something doesn't look right, please let me know.  But I did a bit of research, and from my understanding, is that this is absolutely a first press of Elton's first album, and it's in really good shape.

Only knock...the jacket smells a bit musty, but as you can see in the first pic above, all areas of the jacket and art are very solid.
