1971 UK Pressing on the MGM Blue and Gold Label of this iconic 1967 LP with MacNeill Press GATEFOLD cover.

VG labels, average spindle markings, no writing, marks or stickers.

LP track by track. The audio ranges from good to very good and side 1 plays better than side 2. Given that since 1971 the vinyl has been loved and played many times and there will be some audio depreciation, do not expect a mint or near mint LP! However, none of the tracks skip or stick. I played this LP LOUD for an audio check and my comments are as follows.

Side 1:

1.  Sunday Morning; mild crackling on quiet intro, VG.

2.  I’m Waiting For My Man; Loud guitar driven, audio VG

3.  Femme Fatale; softer track, some crackling and clicks,G+.

4.  Venus In Furs; no significant issues, loud, viola, guitar VG

5.  Run Run Run; no problems with this guitar driven trackVG

6.  All Tomorrow’s Parties; A few clicks audible at the beginning but OK, once it gets going, VG.

Side 2:

1.  Heroin; A few louder clicks run intermittently throughout this track. G

2.  There She Goes Again; Loud guitars, minor clicks VG.

3.  I’ll Be Your Mirror; Delicate track, a few persistent clicks, G.

4.  The Black Angel’s Death Song; Some audible clicks along with the guitar and viola drone. G+

5.  European Son: Guitars and feedback all over the place, occasional clicks audible. G+.

On VISUAL inspection, the LP does have some visible scratch marks on both sides but none of these are deep or feelable.

The GATEFOLD opening cover has some age discolouration and handling marks over its 50+ years. 2 small strips of aged Sellotape on the inside cover top and back, holding the top edges together. No writing or holes, rips etc. On the back photo of the band performing you can observe some faint tracing marks if you hold it to the light. Looks like somebody scribbled something on a paper on top the back of the LP.

The spine and corners are still very good with minor wear to the top spine edge.

Overall it’s in VERY GOOD condition for its age.

There is a plain white EMI inner sleeve in very nice unripped condition which is not the original.
