Eminem Infinite Vinyl LP - Used
This is the unofficial version of the Infinite vinyl release, originally released in 1996. This is the first re-issue of Marshal Mathers’ first studio album prior to signing with Dr. Dre and the hip-hop icon’s rise to fame.
It’s estimated to have surfaced around 2000/2001, per discogs.com. This version predates the black cover “Eminem Infinite” w/white print often seen circulating on eBay and is scarcer than that version as well. (Please see below for criteria markers on how to verify the original 1996 press from this unofficial reissue from the early 2000’s).
I found this vinyl digging in the crates at a Rasputin’s in the early 2000’s. It has stayed covered in the store’s plastic vinyl covering ever since I bought it 20+ years ago and has remained unplayed and untouched that entire time.

There are three easy ways to check if you have the original or the unofficial pressing :
1. On the original pressing there is 1 ring per song (thus 11 total), however on the unofficial pressing, "Infinite", "W.E.G.O." & "It's O.K." make up a single, large ring on Side A, furthermore, "Backstabber" and "Jealousy Woes II" also make up a single ring on Side B. Total is 8 visible rings.
2. The original pressing has a purplish colored label, on the unofficial pressing the label is faded and pinkish colored.
3. The runout groove on the unofficial pressing is EMLP-01-A/B instead of the WEB-714-V-A/B found on the original.
Another, less obvious indication, is the background drawing of a spider web on the labels. On the original pressings (both with address and without), the threads of the web don't quite go up to the extremity of the label circle, some clear space remains. On this bootleg, the spider web drawing makes contact with the edge of the label.
