Rare Donald Byrd Jazz-Funk single [Fallin' Like] Dominoes Stereo/Mono Promo 45. This IS NOT a Pitman Pressing like the only one listed on Discogs. No "P" in the dead wax. I believe this is a styrene pressing. The edge of the label can be felt and it is translucent reddish-brown when held up to a light source. It doesn't look or feel like styrene to me and the edge looks more tapered than flat but if I had to bet I'd guess it's styrene. Comes with United Artists company sleeve.
Dead wax; Stereo side - BNST - 16553 - E TML-S. Mono side - BN 16553 - E TML-M.
UA Company sleeve: VG+ Vinyl: visually VG with numerous light hairlines. I professionally cleaned and play graded both sides with a Technics SL1200MKII/AT70 cart with conical stylus and Grado SR325is headphones. Stereo side plays VG+ and Mono side, with amp Mono switch ON plays VG++. I have uploaded both tracks in full so you can hear the record in it's entirety. Please note that the MONO file in the sample video [Stereo is heard first then Mono second] was created by summing the L/R channels between amp and computer to demonstrate how it should sound being played back through a stereo amp with the MONO switch ON.
Please copy and paste this link to hear full samples of both sides;
