Jazz Portraits "Charlie Mingus Jazz Workshop" UAL 4036, Vinyl LP,White Label Promo, Mono,VG, 1959. Recording Engineer Rudy Van Gelder with liner notes by Nat Hentoff. Recorded live at Nonagon Gallery in New York City on January 16, 1959. The record has some scattered surface noise on Side 1 especially on the first track Side 2 is much better. Overall sound quality is exceptionally good. The inner sleeve is generic. The jacket has had seam split repairs with clear tape but is in very nice shape, Please see images. Former owners name is written on Side 1 label and on back cover. I use premium quality cardboard mailers to ship my records. I encase the records in clear vinyl protective outer sleeves reinforced with two cardboard inserts to safeguard the records in transit.I play all of my records at least once before grading. None of this grading by visual sighting only. Shipped by USPS Media Mail.
