Stephen Sondheim, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street — Original Cast Recording (1979) RCA Red Seal CBL2-3379
The original (and definitive) recording, with Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou in the leading roles.
This is the gatefold version, with the sides sequenced for use with autochangers. (This means that Sides A and D are on the first LP, B and C on the second.)
Vinyl is clean and glossy. The second record (B / C) is NM and possibly unplayed. Side A on the first record is similar condition, but Side D has some small scuffing near the beginning. I'd rate it as a VG+, with the whole set averaging out to EX.
Gatefold sleeve is tanned, with mild ring wear on both sides. One side of the gatefold has a 1.5" split at the top. There are small spots with old sticker residue on both the front (in both top corners) and the back (in the upper right).
The libretto booklet is included and the inner sleeves are original.
