Hi! You're looking at a SUPERB condition vinyl 2 LP Set which is a 1962 FIRST PRESSING with 4s / 2s / 2s / 2s stampers in the runout grooves and a classic recording on the RCA LIVING STEREO label featuring magnificant recordings of Symphony No. 1 and the "Choral" Symphony No. 9 composed by LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN and performed by conductor FRITZ REINER, who leads the CHICAGO SYMPHONY--the recording features a full chorus with featured soloists PHYLLIS CURTIN, FLORENCE KOPLEFF, JOHN McCOLLUM, and DONALD GRAMM. The 2 LP Set is an RCA Victor Living Stereo 1st PRESSING issue with the serial number LSC-6096 and 4s / 2s/ 2s/ 2s stampers in the runout grooves, is a Stereo issue and was made in the United States in 1962.
This LP is in SUPERB condition and the vinyl is in NEAR MINT- (Ex) condition and should play beautifully, with a few moderate scuffs and some light paper scuffs that should not significantly affect play and no other significant flaws; the deluxe gatefold cover with a 11 page booklet printed on heavy cardboard and attached to the inner gatefold is also in NM- condition with some light dustwear on the surfaces, a slight ding on the lower left spine tip, slight ringwear on the back surface, a tiny marked out name on the upper right edge of the front surface and just very light shelfwear otherwise but no other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout! The two ORIGINAL RCA INNER SLEEVES are included and in beautiful shape.
Please Note: I CAN ship records outside of the United States but will need to get a weight estimate based on the final PACKAGED weight for this record--I cannot ship for the $4.00 U.S. Media Rate and the quoted International Shipping Rate may differ from the final shipping rate due to packaged weight differences so please wait to make payment until a final invoice is received. Thanks!
Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)
Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.
Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.
Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches. Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.
Very Good Minus (VG-) A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.
Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.
Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
