This is a Mint condition copy of the Australian pressing of Mötley Crüe’s 1982 debut album ‘Too Fast For Love’
Once Elektra signed Mötley Crüe in early 1982, the record company brought in legendary producer/engineer Roy Thomas Baker to supervise the remix of 9 of the tracks that were on the band’s original Leathür Label pressing.
When this Elektra version (which omitted the track ‘Stick To Your Guns’) was licensed for manufacture and distribution by WEA Records Pty. Limited in Australia a small number of the covers were mistakenly labelled with the ‘Mini LP $6.50 Recommended Retail Price’ sticker.
These copies were sent to media outlets for review.
Once the mistake was spotted, the rest of the Australian WEA pressings were distributed without the incorrect sticker.
This ultra rare copy of the vinyl LP has been stored in a protective plastic sleeve in my record library in a climate controlled room since 1982 and has never been played. The disc was only removed from its sleeve today for the first time to be photographed, so there are no spindle marks on the labels and the cover, lyric/photo insert and vinyl are all in mint condition.
