Sun records #216, SLIM RHODES DJ SAMPLE! VERY RARE!! This is from my father’s private stock. I don’t sell many Sun records here (eBay) so take advantage of purchasing one of the finest examples of a ‘50’s Sun 45 rpm record while they still exist! This M-, DJ sample Sun record is a collector piece for sure. All the details are listed in “description” including the matrix (dead wax) numbers. Don’t get duped into a bootleg, check discogs for proper matrix and both for pricing. My prices are a bit higher than most but take a min and read my feedback and my bio, you will clearly see why. If you use Popsike etc for reference make sure you read the listings for condition, zoom in on the record for visual confirmation of condition and view the price history. The latest one that sold does not necessarily the bar. And there is a night and day difference between VG- and M-!! Unless you don’t mind constant hissing and popping, you may want to look closely.

I ship worldwide via USPS First Class International and USPS Priority flat rate within the US. Due to the high number of theft and loss the tracking numbers provided with these services are crucial. I recommend insurance as I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged records. That said I pack all records professionally in Boxes Unlimited 78 and 45 specific boxes with a padding process I upgraded from just traditional cardboard squares alone. I will combine records at no further charge but will not put more than two 78’s or four 45’s per box. I have never had a record damaged in transit and have shipped the most fragile 45’s and 78’s all over the globe. If you require full insurance please contact me for final shipping fee. 45 RPM GRADING-

NM : Near perfect, no visible signs of handling. Highly desirable and very hard to find.

M- : A visual imperfection very, very light inaudible sleeve scuffs. Plays like new, extremely desirable condition.

(EX or VG++ which eBay doesn’t have for 45’s. May have a couple inaudible scuffs or mild ring wear. No scratches, plays well without skips. Very acceptable collector record)

VG+ : The record will display scuffing and/or slight DNAP. Still plays very well. Still a collectible record.

VG : Scuffs all around and or label wear and tear. Possible scratch and/or DNAP around but plays well all the way through w/o skips. Good player record.

VG- : A few marks of which can be felt by touch and/or heavy DNAP and/or heavy label wear, hiss and pops but still plays w/o skips!
