An archival quality 1st Press mono copy of The Beatles - Help! This was the first released press on 6th August 1965 and has matrix numbers; XEX 549-2 XEX 550-2 ( See photos)
The mothers and stampers are also shown in the photos.
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl looks unplayed, with no marks and beautiful gloss. The labels and spindle holes are pristine. Without doubt the best copy we have seen. Graded Near Mint.
Playback is superb - beautiful clear, vibrant mono sound with silent vinyl - there is no noise, even between tracks, quieter than many modern pressings.
The flipback laminated sleeve is crisp, smooth and shiny with no laminate lift or peel and no creasing - age related discolouration only. Really sharp edges. A tiny amount of seam rubbing near the bottom opening but barely worth mentioning. Lovely readable undamaged spine. The rear is equally clean and crisp with no writing, only the original retailer stamp ( see photos). No damage, tape or tears.
The original Emitex inner sleeve is present, & apart from discolouration is still doing a fantastic job all these years on.
A superb copy for a collector to treasure.
The record will be sent in a clear archival outer sleeve separated out to prevent transit splits.
