Barbed Wire Sandwich is a bluesy hard rock "one and done" from the early 70's. Outstanding! The lead guitar just soars. A little like Foghat and Savoy Brown. Actual a lot like Foghat and Savoy Brown and that is praise.
Rod Price, who actually played the lead guitar in both those bands, goes apeshit on this long player. Fabulous toe tappers are all over this recording. Early 70's bluesy hard rock.......glorious!
