The new ‘Damn Right Honey!’ album follows up the 2011 ‘Buy Beg Or Steal’ album that spawned the viral and vinyl phenomenon ‘My Love For Evermore’, a duet with Sparky Phillips from Demented Are Go.  With over two million Youtube views, selling out six 7” single pressings, and a dozen cover versions, the murder ballad became a worldwide obsession: -

Based around ex-patriot Englishmen Oliver Baroni and Duncan James together with chanteuse Emanuela Hutter, they’ve long been showing Zurich how to rock’n’roll.  Now having conquered both their domestic residence and neighbouring France, as part of a 10-nation European tour (dates still to come in Belgium, Finland, Spain & Switzerland) they return to the UK for club dates and a festival in August: -

As their name suggests The Hillbilly Moon Explosion’s roots are in rockabilly; however they’ve always been just as comfortable with 60’s pop and smoky ballads.  They’ve now have widened their template to embrace all roots Americana. 

‘Damn Right Honey’ features two distinctive guest singers joining them for duets.  Rockabilly stalwart Paul Ansell, the chosen vocalist of Scotty Moore, contributes to the forthcoming single ‘Flying High, Moaning Low’.  And Sparky Phillips returns to join Emanuela on ‘Northern Crown’. 

For the first time they’ve engaged a brass section, and are also aided and abetted by BJ Cole and Geraint Watkins amongst others.  The album is again produced by Greg Townson of US bands The Hi-Risers and Los Straightjackets, and was recorded at Goldtop Studio in Tooting, South London.

First formed some years ago, their first three albums were issued on different rockabilly labels.  Relaunched with their fourth, ‘Buy Beg Or Steal’, they embarked on a busy schedule touring clubs and festivals across Europe, including touring with Jeff Beck.  In the UK last year they appeared at disparate events such as for the Swiss Olympic team, the Rebellion Punk Festival and the Jazz Café.

Payment
Paypal is smoothly integrated into ebay, and works well. 
If you don’t have PayPal or want to pay by credit-card, you can still do so through PayPal.  Just DON’T LOG INTO AN ACCOUNT, and look for the button saying ‘Pay by credit-card’. 
We also accept cheques from UK banks in Pounds Sterling, and UK Postal Orders.  Checks in US Dollars from US banks can be accepted with a $3 surcharge. 
PayPal ‘eCheque’ payments take a week longer to arrives, so expect delays.  You can avoid eCheques by having a credit-card linked to your PayPal account. 
Orders paid by any method outside of PayPal may also be subject to delays.

Postage
UK and particularly international postage charges have risen sharply (May 2012).  The amount we charge is what we expect to pay plus approx 20-30p for packing materials. 
Multiple items postage
If you are ordering multiple items, there will be automatic approximated reduction in postage costs – but make sure you order them together, not individually.  If the estimate still looks excessive, don't pay but click on the 'Request total from seller' button in the shopping basket.  We'll then recalculate the costs for your combined items postage and send you an invoice.  The postage may or may not calculate as less; we’re trying to refine the accuracy of the automation.
Delivery time excludes weekends and Bank Holidays, which may be different in the UK from elsewhere. 
Packets to overseas destinations (particularly Italy and Russia) often take longer than advertised due to local customs delays. 
Please note, the date printed on our postage is a day or two after we print it, ie it’s the date it remains valid until with Royal Mail, not the date of posting.
