Artist: Howard Mcghee Quintet
Title: Music from The Connection

(Earliest U.K.)
---------------------------------
For auction here is the 1st U.K. press, of the Felstead recording,
'Music from The Connection' played by The Howard Mcghee Quintet with
Tina Brooks, Ossie Johnson, Milt Hinton and I. Ching.
Composed by Freddie Redd whom I'm led to believe is I. Ching.
A diffrent variation to the U.S. gold cover and to my knowledge, less pressed than the U.S copy.
(I will stand corrected).
Deep grooved 'American Jazz recording' with London Atlantic red & silver labelling.
Robert Stace front laminated flipback picture sleeve and original polylined inner sleeve.
SLEEVE: VG-.
All in one piece with no rips or tears. Some staining and ring wear visible on rear and slight ringwear on front but not easily visible. Some wear to front edges
and open edge but overall not to bad shape. A hand written name on the rear top right. Overall in good shape but not perfect by any means.
VINYL: VG++.
Only hairlines and scuffing, (under light stop it grading EX. Nothing to affect sound quality.
AUDIO: EX
LABELS: VG+. Bright and clean, there is again a handwritten name, (both sides), but no rips or tears. Gading VG+ due to hand written name.
INNER SLEEVE: FAIR.
The original polylined inner sleve is still present and in one piece but suffers from bad creasing and a rip from centre outwards and also staining and discolouration. (Please see last photo).
To keep within RC guidelines can only grade fair but it has done it's primary job and protected the vinyl.

'OR'
The prices listed are a GUIDE ONLY.
Please contact/ebay message me before you pay and I will get a quote for where you are and how you want it sent from the post office. I will only charge you that which I am charged, (copy of reciept supplied upon request). If you opt for
un-registered/un-signed for post I can not be responsible if it gets lost.
Probably better to protect with registered/signed for. The vinyl will be posted in a proper record box.
