I am a private record collector who has amassed several hundred albums over the last 50 years. Most of the LPs I bought were bought during the 70s, 80s and early 90s before the arrival of the CD. My collection is mainly made up of progressive rock, jazz rock and fusion. All the LPs I bought were imediately stored in protective plastic wallets in order to keep my collection in as good a condition as possible. My collection is now being sold off as I sold my turntable almost ten years ago. Most of my albums are what could be described as New Old Stock (NOS) ie they are old but are in very good condition.
