ORIGINAL US reissued LP, released in 1969 on the APPLE label.

Catalogue number: SO-383.

 

This is considered Cover version No. 3 (A slick over cardboard

sleeve). The label has "MFG. BY APPLE RECORDS, INC" on the

perimeter of side 1.

It is a WinchesterVA pressing based on the run-out etching (---<).

"Her Majesty" is listed on the label but NOT on the cover.

 

Cover Photograph is cropped so that the Manhole Cover is NOT

seen at the bottom of the photo, as it is in Other Pressings of this

Album.

 

MATRIX NUMBERS READ:

A-side:  SO1-383-F52 (etched) (MASTERED BY CAPITOL stamped).

B-side: SO-2-383-G52 #3 (etched) (MASTERED BY CAPITOL stamped).

 

VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD+ CONDITION

Mainly a VERY GOOD+ clean sleeve, which suffers from some

sleeve edge wear, some slight/light partial edge wear

on/along the top/bottom edges. Spine edge displays small spine

sleeve splits/cracks and some small light edge print lifts, owing

to age and partially to the sleeve’s design. Spine print is affected in

places with only partial name/title & catalogue number still

remaining. There is some light partial record sleeve ring wear

evident on the top/bottom of the front and back sleeve. Sleeve

displays no rips/tears, no seem splits, no writing and no sleeve

creases.

 

Comes complete with the original plain white paper die-cut

protective inner sleeve, which is in VERY GOOD+ condition, small

middle die-cut edge tear and light corner creases from storage.

 

Record labels are NEAR MINT clean with no damage and just a

few light traces of spindle hole markings.

 

Vinyl retains full glossy sheen on both sides, displays a few small

barely visible, light surface scuff marks, which chiefly only show up

when angled and viewed very carefully under a strong bright

light. Record is graded by appearance.

 

Record plays EXCELLENT+ on both sides, emitting a clear, clean

sound, there is some minimal background surface noise in a few

places, however this is only occasional and not consistent

throughout. There are no loud crackles, clicks or pops and the

record does not jump.
