I use a high-end Turntable to play my records and also use a Record Cleaning machine so you can be assured that discs I own have been well looked after. Please know, however, that many records in my collection are older than I am and have come to me second hand. That is why I use the Record Collector Rating system.

I grade very strictly by the Record Collector system. I do not sell records that are less than VG+. I am also a collector and know that there is nothing worse than a poorly graded record.

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

" The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

I use PREMIUM QUALITY record mailers and cardboard stiffeners. I do NOT add the cost of these mailers to shipping (no hidden fees here--you only pay what I pay for shipping). It is my hope that you will re-use the mailers for LPs or other items.
