Private label recording of the U.C. Gun Club Dinner at the Family, San Francisco April 23, 1964. The Gun was a secret society founded at Boalt Hall Law School in Berkeley in the early 1900's. Composed of men who "lived for the drink and died by the gun" Earl Warren (California Supreme Court Judge) was an early member. Boalt Hall secret society is an 120 year old all male society dedicated to alcohol and poetry. The Familly is a private club in San Francisco. With this record, it's a not so secret society!
