ZOOT SIMS, THE MODERN ART OF JAZZ; Dawn DLP 1102, 1956 Original Deep Groove.  Mono.  Sims on tenor sax with Bob Brookmeyer, trombone; John Williams, piano; Milt Hinton, bass and Gus Johnson, drums.  Vinyl is Mint-, clean and shiny with original glossy sheen, no visible imperfections.  Random play grade is Mint-.  Deep Groove labels are clean, no marks, near perfect.  Jacket is EX, clean, no splits or tears; front very nice with very light fading; back with light discoloration, previous owner's name written (blue ink) upper right corner, bullets/stars (blue and black ink) beside 6 song titles and artist names underlined (black ink) (none obscure any text or graphics).  Seriously rare find with beautiful vinyl, overall lovely copy!

Owner Byron F. Greatorex comes from a 40 year history of collecting, buying and selling records, including ownership of two previous independent stores in Vermont and Maine. Spirit of Sound aims to please! Present stock includes many gems in the condition and price range that is satisfactory to our customers, both locally and all over the world! Each LP purchased will be cleaned on a VPI Professional Cleaning Machine before shipping. Our grading system is essentially the same as in Goldmine with one exception.  We use EX (in lieu of VG++) for vinyl that is between VG+ and just this side of Mint-.  
Spirit of Sound ships, in good faith, via USPS.  We combine shipping for multiple purchases.  To insure customer satisfaction, we will include Tracking on all domestic orders, thus the modest shipping/handling increase.  We encourage our international buyers to include insurance and delivery confirmation (registered mail) when choosing a shipping option.   Barring this choice, we will ship in good faith at buyers risk.
