This is a first pressing mono Sgt.Pepper in superb condition.
It has the cutout insert and original red and white inner sleeve also in excellent condition.
The vinyl is still shiny and bright. I have looked very hard at the vinyl and can only find a few surface marks.
Four of these are very faint and less than 0.5cm on Side 2 and one very faint one about 0.75cm is on Side 1.
I must reiterate these are very hard to see and do not affect the performance of the record.
There are a few faint spindle marks on each label of the record.
The matrix code on Side 1 is XEX 637-1 and Side 2 is XEX 638-1
Side 1 also has the KT stamper code on it.
The vinyl record itself is flat and not warped at all.
The cover is also excellent.
There are a few little laminate creases on the front and back of the cover but again you have to look for them.
The spine is good and not split at all. The cutout insert is in excellent condition.
The rare red and white inner sleeve has a few faint creases but is not torn at all.
This is possibly one of the finest examples around. It must have only been played a few times.
On Parlophone PMC 7027.
