An extremely rare and unique collectors item which might prove to be very special for Bowie fans as it appears to have an interesting story behind it! The item itself reads 'RCA BOW 6 PB 9575' which might make sense to someone.
Anyhow, recently I was passed this Ashes to Ashes/Move On David Bowie 7" vinyl record along with the history of how it came to be. On a wet day in November 2012 in New York, the original owner (who wishes to remain private) was transporting a box of old records to give away and spotted the legend himself, David Bowie, walking on the same street! He fished out this very record out and asked nicely to get it signed - which he happily did there and then on the spot!
On inspecting the record, it seems free from major scratches but the quality of sound unfortunately cannot be tested. It appears not to have been stored well - even after being signed - however still remains in good condition overall. I was surprised to receive it as is, without any protection or anything, so I have made a temporary plastic sleeve for it.
Unfortunately and obviously, it isn't a verified item and I don't care for or have the time to have it checked by experts, hence the low starting price. Happy bidding and good luck!
