COMMENTS: UK original album. FIRST pressing with A/B stampers and orange/black "eye" Pink Island label.  In 1967, the very young Steve Winwood, split from The Spencer Davis Band, and formed a band with guitarist Dave Mason, sax/flutist Chris Wood, and drummer Jim Capaldi.  The band was Traffic, and this their debut album is a masterpiece!!!   They were able to beautifully combine the soulful voice of Winwood and his mellotron/organ, with the jazzy horn of Wood, and the psychedelic guitars/sitar influences of Mason!!  The UK version differs from the US in that the UK version adds 2 Dave Mason tracks, Utterly Simple and Hope I Never Find Me There, but omits Paper Sun, Hole In My Shoe and Smiling Phases, which were actually issued as UK singles!!!  Plus, the true "mono" UK mix appears to have more punch and thickness, than the stereo???  Anyway, this RARE original UK mono sounds brilliant!!!

ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier which pushes (4) original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!

I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!!   FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
