Classic Records makes a really impressive reissue. They charge a pretty penny for them and if you’ve ever seen/heard one you understand why. They are painstaking reproductions of the original records and to the casual observer may be mistaken for pristine original pressings. The covers are made from heavy cardboard stock and are very glossy, the print is crisp and clear; the vinyl is heavy (200g I believe) and sounds beautiful. Even the labels might fool you, they have the deep groove pressed into the vinyl like the old records of the 50’s and 60’s.
This MONO copy of Donald Byrd’s Byrd In Hand is in mint condition. I bought it new and it probably has under 5 plays. Great hard bop session with an excellent cast of musicians.

I am selling a number of my jazz records, mostly Blue Note Japanese pressings, 60’s pressings and Classic Records audiophile reissues. Check out my other listings!
