The Beatles – 7 x Deccagone singles plus “How Do You Do It” c/w “Revolution”

On January 1st 1962, The Beatles recorded 15 tracks at the Decca studios for their first record company audition. In 1976 this series of seven unofficial singles came out on coloured vinyl presented in very nice picture sleeves. Seven singles, making 14 tracks from the sessions. The missing track is "Take Good Care Of My Baby".

For Sale here are all seven singles from that series (2 copies of Hello Little Girl) plus "How Do You Do It" c/w "Revolution". 9 discs in total.

Track Listings (with condition gradings alongside sleeve/disc) are:

Hello Little Girl c/w Three Cool Cats (red vinyl) – Ex/Ex (sleeve has price sticker on reverse side)

Hello Little Girl c/w Three Cool Cats (green vinyl) – VG+/Ex (sleeve has some small tears to opening edge)

September in the Rain c/w Shiek of Araby – Ex/Ex

Love of the Loved c/w Memphis - VG++/Ex (sleeve has small split to centre of bottom edge)

Like Dreamers Do c/w Searchin’ – Ex/Ex

Sure to Fall c/w Money – VG+/Ex (sleeve has some rippling and price stickers on both sides)

‘Till There Was You c/w Cryin, Waiting, Hoping – VG++/Ex (sleeve has one small tear to opening edge)

*Besame Mucho c/w To Know Him is to Love Him – Ex+/NM

How Do You Do It c/w Revolution – Ex+/NM

The final single was NOT on Deccagone. It came out at the same time and was in a similar style of pressing on coloured vinyl. It was pressed as a souvenir for those attending the 3rd annual convention of Beatles fans in Boston (see label in picture).

See pictures for actual discs and sleeves.

*This disc is a later pressing featuring different takes (including the Decca versions) of the listed songs (Five in all). It is also a mis-press with a blank white label on both sides. There is a typed insert included providing info on each take.

All discs have some fine hairlines and the sleeves all have some creasing and minimal storage wear. The discs (like all my vinyl) would benefit from a professional clean.

Starting at just £5 per single, this is a great collection of historic recordings. Grab a bargain!!

I have been a Beatles fan since the day I sat down in 1973 to listen to the ‘Blue Album’. As a young lad this was the first time I had consciously listened to the band. From the first few bars of Strawberry Fields Forever, I was hooked. So it is with a very heavy heart that I now have to sell my vinyl collection!  I have been selling a number of items recently but now need to let the vinyl go. I am not a dealer, so please accept my gradings as being as honest as I can make them without a professional background or equipment. Unless stated the gradings are visual, as I just don’t have the time to play grade everything.

Records will be removed from their original sleeve and dispatched in a plain white sleeve. All items will be placed in a protective clear sleeve and dispatched in a card mailer.

I always obtain a proof of posting from Post Office.
