Up for bid is Carm Esposito The Men I Love Female Jazz Vocal with JR Monterose on tenor sax. Vinyl does have scratches - but none that can be felt. The worst scratch is on the 1st cut on side 2 and it does make a light tic through the middle of the song. It is a visual VG+ and Plays VG++ a few minor tics - very clear with little feedback (even in the quiet segments). Great recording/player for its condition. The cover is Excellent + still has the shrink wrap.
This is the initial and only private recording of a non-professional singer made with the help of a group of friends in Utica, New York in the summer, 1981. Run-off has UCA - 1004 A&B
While The Men That I Love is her only formal album it has been written that she has the best qualities of singers Irene Karl, Margaret Whiting and Ethel Ennis and you have a start at appreciating the tonal clarity, timbre, note placement, tastefully managed vibrato and articulations of lyrics that make her singing so special. This is a very special recording. If you are a lover of great jazz vocals - you will absolutely love it. The songs are as follows:
1 Alone again
2 Here's That Rainy Day
3 Never Let Me Go
4 The Man I Love
5 Spring can really Hang You up the Most
6 There will never Be Another You
7 Young and Foolish
8 When You Wish upon a Star
