Fairport Convention - United Kingdom LP Stereo

"Liege & Lief"

Original 1969 very 1st Pressing of the album by Fairport Convention - Liege & Lief.

On Pink "i" Island label Catalogue no. ILPS 9115. Matrix: 29115 A//1. 29115 B//1.

The Vinyl has some light surface hairlines V/G+(R.R.Guide.)and apart from a couple very,very faint bits of crackle plays absolutely superb with no noise between tracks. The Labels have whispers of spindle mark under light Exc. The E.J.Day G/F Sleeve has wear on edges due to early storage,small price written on rear 37/5. No writing or stickers on labels, no writing(except for small price 37/5),stickers or splits on sleeve. Most of spine can be clearly read(see-pic).

Tracks: Side 1. Come All Ye / Reynardine / Matty Groves / Farewell, Farewell.

Side 2. The Deserter / Medley: The Lark In The Morning: Rakish Paddy: Foxhunter`s Jig: Toss The Feathers / Tam Lin / Crazy Man Michael. 

As all my regular purchasers know it is very, very rarely I auction any of my collection when the vinyl is less than Excellent. But in this case due to it`s rarity and superb playing condition I am sure someone will appreciate it for their cherished collection. Purchased in exact condition from a 2nd hand record shop late 70`s where I spent my Saturday mornings(from the Mid 60`s)listening to new and used records before purchasing.

Fabulous playing condition now touching 46 years old.
