Generally SOLD OUT through most distributors; but we kept back 30 copies for our direct customers who were unable to get to a Record Store.
  
As a founding member of the hugely influential New York Dolls, and key player in the birth of punk rock with the Heartbreakers, Johnny Thunders influenced countless musicians and left behind an iconic legacy.  His unique musical style, personal battles with drugs, and mysterious death in 1991 are now the subject of ‘Looking For Johnny’, a feature length documentary by filmmaker Danny Garcia (‘The Rise and Fall of The Clash’), which opened to critical acclaim at a series of screenings across the globe this summer.

Following the film’s release on DVD in October, Jungle Records issue an original soundtrack album, featuring several rare and exclusive tracks, on 24th November.  Initially set to be released exclusively as a limited edition, numbered double LP on patent red vinyl, the soundtrack comes in a gatefold sleeve, featuring sleevenotes by Thunders biographer Nina Antonia.  It is distributed to indie record shops (by SRD in the UK) as a Record Store Day release, for Record Store Day ‘Black Friday’ which in the USA is the country’s biggest sales day, after Thanksgiving, though has a lower profile in the UK and Europe.

Packing 30 tracks, the album features a cut from early band Actress (who would become the New York Dolls), Heartbreakers favourites such as ‘You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory’ and ‘Born To Lose’, and numbers from all eras of Thunders’ solo career.  The final side includes songs from some of the guitarist’s collaborators and contemporaries, which were recorded especially for the film, including theme song ‘Looking For Johnny’ (by Oddballs bandmate Stevie Klasson), and tracks by The Bermondsey Joyriders (featuring The Oddballs’ Chris Musto), Vic Godard (Subway Sect), Jan Stenfors (Hanoi Rocks) and JC Carroll (The Members).

We also accept cheques from UK banks in Pounds Sterling, and UK Postal Orders.  Checks in US Dollars from US banks can be accepted with a $3 surcharge. 
PayPal ‘eCheque’ payments take a week longer to arrive, so expect a delay if you use that facility.  You can avoid eCheques by having a credit-card linked to your PayPal account. 
Any orders paid by any method outside the PayPal system may be subject to delays.

Postage
UK and particularly international postage charges continue to rise.  The amount we charge is what we expect to pay plus approx 20-30p for packing materials. 
Multiple items postage
If you are ordering multiple items, there will be automatic approximated reduction in postage costs – BUT make sure you order them together, not individually.  Depending on the weight of the items, the estimate can still be excessive.  If you want an accurate calculation then don't pay but put ALL the items in your shopping basket, then click on the 'Request total from seller' button.  We'll then recalculate the costs for your combined items postage and send you an invoice.  The postage may or may not calculate as less.  NOTE: Ebay are changing some things so this may not work quite as before.
Delivery time excludes weekends and Bank Holidays, which may be different in the UK from elsewhere. 
Packets to overseas destinations (particularly Italy, Russia, South America) often take longer than advertised due to local customs delays. 
Overseas post is by Royal Mail Air Mail Small Packet, for which there is NO tracking number.  Currently we don't regularly offer a 'signed for' or tracked service; but message us if your order is over £50 value and you'd like to add such a service.
Please note, the date printed on our postage is a day or two after we print it, ie it’s the date it remains valid until with Royal Mail, not the date of posting.
Packaging: For vinyl we generally use sturdy card cruciforms, not envelopes, and if not shrinkwrapped we remove discs from sleeves, to avoid sleeve splits.  For CDs we use corrugated cardboard, not jiffy bags.
