Here it is, SIN 34's "Do You Feel Safe?" is finally available on vinyl again!  The record is on 180 gram opaque orange vinyl with a black poly-lined sleeve. It includes a reprint of the original insert/lyric sheet, a four page booklet with rare photographs and liner notes, and a digital download card for the entire album plus three previously unreleased tracks.  All 15 tracks of the original album plus the 3 bonus tracks were remastered by Bob Weston (Volcano Suns, Mission of Burma, Shellac).  Liner note contributors are Tobi Vail (Bikini Kill), Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), and SIN 34 drummer and filmmaker Dave Markey (Desperate Teenage Lovedolls, 1991: The Year Punk Broke).  Formed in the wake of the first wave of LA punk, SIN 34 epitomized the Southern California hardcore scene at the time. Fast, defiant thrash; one part suburban teenage rebellion, one part crass satire, all held together by a thread of reckless adventuring. One of the rare hardcore bands fronted by a female singer, SIN 34 bounced it's way briefly but not quietly through the SoCal scene, dodging flying bodies and antagonistic, aggressive LA police as they went.  Originally released in 1983, "Do You Feel Safe?" (SIN 34's only full length LP), captured the band in their short-lived prime. 30 plus years out of print until now, Julie Lanfeld, Dave Markey, Phil Newman and Mike Glass encapsulate the youthful spirit of a vital and influential music movement. SIN 34 played shows opening for bands including Dead Kennedys, Fear, D.O.A., Minutemen, T.S.O.L., Social Distortion, Circle Jerks, Necros, Angry Samoans, and M.D.C.
