This is a unique record.
The record itself and the jacket were paired together by me.
This is what happened...
I bought a SEALED copy of Let It Be (PCS 7096 -3u/-4), opened it up, cleaned it, and test played it. Side one is magnificent. It plays perfect. SOLID NM!!!!! However, side two (to my horror) has little micro-scratches on the first quarter inch which make a repeated, complex "crackle." This lasts for ONLY the first part of "I've Got a Feeling." Then, after that, the rest of the side is, again, a solid NM that plays perfect.
This was done at the factory.
Without those scratches, this is, easily a $100 record in its quality.
So, because this was intended for my own, personal collection of NM Beatles, stereo records, I kept the perfect jacket and sought out a wonderful NM/EX+ copy that I could get at a good price with a lesser quality jacket. I paired the mint jacket with the mint record, and that is what I have for my own collection.
What you have here and are bidding on is the imperfect jacket and the near-perfect vinyl (except for the first few seconds of side two, as mentioned above).
Happy bidding.
