What I’m offering is a non-cutout copy of the RARE jazz LP by Horace Parlan titled Headin’ South, mono, issued on Blue Note BLP-4062.

The grading on the LP is EX cover, strong EX record side one, NM record side two.

The cover has a tiny amount of wear in three corner tips, both bottom corners and the top left corner. The cover also has a small ding/ crease in the bottom left corner and very light surface wear.

The record, which has RVG and the EAR symbol in the trail-off area on both sides of the record, has one tiny surface mark on side one that is totally inaudible and does not affect its play. Side two of the record is in solid NM condition with NO scuffs or scratches.

The original Blue Note inner sleeve is also included in this auction. The sleeve is in poor condition with multiple tears and splits but is included to complete the total package. The record will be placed in a generic white inner sleeve.

I spot checked the sound quality of the record and noticed a little bit of light, surface noise upon playback during the soft passages of the music. The surface noise can probably be improved upon with a cleaning using a professional cleaning system/ machine. However, it's not bad as is.
