READ THIS ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE YOU BID!!

We at PIAPTK made these for The Flaming Lips recent appearance at Psychfest in Austin. Many were sold on site, but due to impending bad weather, we closed up shop early and didn't sell them all. We have a handful left (more will be sold at the PIAPTK site after these are gone, so please download the free PIAPTK sampler to be put on our mailing list for notice if you miss out) that are being sold for the same price as they were sold at the show.

Tracks include Good Vibrations along with three short "remixes". Side A contains the large Good Vibrations groove and the center short track and the B-side contains the two outer rings, so no grooves actually intersect). The smaller grooves may not play on some manual return turntables. PIAPTK also has more "multi-holed art record" designs for artists like American Monoxide (Dimitri from Dr. Dog), DOHM (Money Mark (Beastie Boys) + Patrick Keeler (Raconteurs/Greenhornes), and SpaceFace (Jake Ingalls from Flaming Lips' other band), with many more coming down the pipe.

  Short run vinyl records
Please note that this lathe cut record was made one-at-a-time, in real-time,    by a real person, from plexiglass using an experimental process and 70 year    old machines. It is not a pressed record and may have slightly more surface    noise or an occasional light distortion in some frequencies. The volume will    also be a little lower than a modern "post-loudness-war" record, so    pump up the volume. It won't be audiophile, but it ought to sound pretty good    considering the circumstances of its' birth. It might also require tonearm adjustment    (light weight and neutral anti-skate) in order to track correctly due to the    hard plastic having slight shallower grooves than a traditional record. They    do not always play well on some low-end turntables. If it sounds overly distorted,    lift the needle and drop again, sometimes the needle gets caught on the side    of the groove and a little nudge will drop it into the bottom of the groove.    These records will not degrade or harm your needle or cartridge.
