Our GRADING for pskorst (our sister 78 record ebay name) and us ( bigbillkorst ) is simplified as follows    strong V+, V+, strong V, V, weak V, V- and Poor.  A  strong V+  in my book is going be nearly flawless--or very light flaws--I rarely do a V++--a  strong V+   is going be sharp with little to very little wear.   A   strong V  (not +)  may have light scratches--nothing significant--no digs here. I suggest trying one of our strong V records or better to get an idea of where my grading is at-- I am very aware of hair cracks, rim chips that affect grooves (and will spot them) and will mention anything that (rule of thumb) you can feel with your finger nail.  Luckily my eye sight is good up close so I strive to have very consistent grading. Packing  We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 6" box. We have had less then 5 problems with damage on 3200+ records shipped so far.  Peter

78RPM This sale is for 3 circa 1947-50 Tiny Hill 78 rpm records on the Mercury label   they are a Mercury 1055 Tiny Hill, Would You For a Big Red Apple / You Gotta Quit Cheatin' on Me  V-  this one has moderate  wear and scratchiness--this is a bit scruffy, -I don't see anything that appears it would catch the needle-just a used 78   the second is another Mercury 5508 Tiny Hill, Back in Your own Backyard / I'll Sail My Ship Alone  V- to weak V-  this one is a more consistent moderate to heavy foggy type wear, mostly scuffs and some scratches   -still scruffy but again nothing I see will catch the needle   and finally a 3rd  Mercury 5543 Tiny Hill, Everybody Loves that Hadacol (a patent alcohol based quack medicine back in the day) / Don't Make Love to Mary (with Mabel on Your Mind) V- to weak V- this one is just mostly moderate to heavy consistent wear     These circa 1947-50 records are in weak V- to V- condition with  scratches/blemishes/scuffs.  Graded visually.  Spindle holes and labels have slight wear.  Will come in 2 original slightly worn Mercury paper sleeves, and 1 paper sleeve .  See photos of all 6 labels.  Please email with any questions.
