Judge Dread ‎  "40 Big One's"  Creole Records ‎– BIG1 2 × Vinyl, LP, Compilation released in 1977.
Title on sleeve and spine is "40 Big Ones". Title on labels is "40 Big One's".  The catalog# is printed as "BIG1" on the cover but as "BIG 1" on the labels.
The vinyl appears to have been very lightly played and is in great condition. The sleeve has some wear and tear to top on both sides of the gatefold, but nothing major. The spine is intact with no writing. A nice item.

Alexander Minto Hughes (2 May 1945 – 13 March 1998),  better known as Judge Dread, was an English reggae and ska musician. He was the first white recording artist to have a reggae hit in Jamaica, and the BBC has banned more of his songs than any other recording artist due to his frequent use of sexual innuendo and double entendres.
He was the first white recording artist to have a reggae hit in Jamaica, leading him to travel to Jamaica to perform live, where many were surprised that he was white. Dread had 11 UK chart hits in the 1970s, which was more than any other reggae artist (including Bob Marley). The Guinness Book of World Records credited Judge Dread for having the highest number (eleven) of banned songs of all time.  Several of his songs mentioned Snodland, in Kent, where Judge Dread lived. There is a road in the town of Snodland named after him, the Alex Hughes Close.
Judge Dread died from a heart attack as he walked off stage after performing at The Penny Theatre in Canterbury on 13 March 1998
