EXTREMELY RARE
MOTOWN VOL. 1 LP #603 From the sleeve: 'An album in which five artists present
tunes which have all gained great national recognition.' Extremely rare original US Motown mono pressing of on Berry Gordy's esteemed label, which hit the shops in May
1962.
This is only the 8th album ever
released by Gordy's label. A true collector's item.
I
do not know too much about this record. It was obtained at an estate
sale. I am not a professional grader. I will attempt to describe it as
best I can.
Please look at the photos. I'll do my best to answer any questions.
Sleeve
has some shelf-ware. The front has a sticker and writing on it in blue
pen. The actual record has some light surface marks on it, not too bad
though.
I heard both sides of the LP and it sounds good. There are some light normal record pops but nothing too bad and no skipping.
The music is fantastic! A must have for any MOTOWN collection!
